Designed by Bercy Chen Studio, ResidenceAnnie - this is a modern prefab house in central Austin. The unique architectural design of the house divides it into two living areas, which are designed, respectively, to the two families. Compiled on the basis of a modular steel frame, the house consists of two pavilions connected by a glass hallway. The steel structure clad with a special heat-resistant panels that make the house tidy. The skeleton of the house paraded showing the design idea and clearly outlining the facade of the house. The expediency of the house is reached by that used in the construction of the repeat method, as well as home team structure.
In the design of the house affected different regions and cultures. Using as an external roof canopy and shading techniques date back to the Moorish architecture. Water features and logical unity of inner and outer space came from Asian architecture. A structural transparency of forms and minimalism in the interior are a classic feature of Japanese architecture.
