Children's room for girls 10-16 years old
Making the bedroom of a teenager - not an easytask, because you need to take into account the needs of the child in this difficult age, combine the important areas in one room and not to forget to emphasize the individuality of the hostess. "We have tried to focus attention on the fact that in this room live no longer a little girl, and already formed personality. Collections of jewelry, flowers, photos of friends and a lot of accessories that fill the room with a special meaning, "- says Olga Gimeno, the project designer.
"Bedroom for a teenage girl is divided into threeZone: sitting area, study area and a dressing room. Each zone has its own solutions for storage, "says the designer of the interior Olga Gimeno. - "Because the room is quite small, we have tried to make use of every corner of the benefit - the space under the window (which formed the table, chest of drawers), under the bed (for storing seasonal items and books), a place near the bed (between the bed and the wall is a small bedside table, on which you can store all sorts of little things or put a vase with flowers).
Of particular note is a dressing room, whichlocated in a small lodge. "Together with the future mistress of the room, we came to the conclusion that it is best not to put interior doors in the dressing room. If you close the dressing room, there will never be order, "- laughing designer. - "Moreover, having an open wardrobe, you will have more motivation to keep it clean," - continues to Olga. Every thing in the locker room has a dedicated space - shoes are in special boxes in the lower compartment, shirts, T-shirts and accessories are located on the middle shelf and in special trays and stands, and in the upper part of hanging clothes on hangers.
In this room, white, pale green, pink andpurple - the dominant color. White walls and floors are the perfect backdrop, next to which other accents become brighter and more noticeable. "We did not want to use bright colors, especially afraid to overdo it with pink - the traditional colors of all children for girls. Therefore, the choice fell on a pale pink shade that perfectly fit into the pastel range of rooms. "
